They may even debate that you may become diabetic from doing this.
Doing what you ask?
Well, it is eating meat.
People chose not to eat meat due to health reasons.
Also, there are people who do not eat meat and do not eat any animal byproducts. These people are typically called vegans.
About two percent of the U.S population are vegan, according to a poll that was published in the Economist magazine in 2020. That two percent can cause a debate.
Now as for me I have thought about going vegan. For me I stopped eating meat in April 2021. I became vegetarian after eating no meat except for seafood for a while. I would love to be vegan but I still love my eggs and that includes fixing hard boiled eggs.
It is a polarizing debate between if you should eat meat or not. People argue that they need the protein from the meat. While vegans and vegetarians get protein from plant based sources. According to The National Academy of Medicine a person should consume 0.8 grams of protein of every kilogram of body weight.
According to Harvard Health Publishing, meat can increase the risk of heart disease.
The World Health Organization have ruled that processed meats like ham are classified as a Group 1 carcinogen. Typically it said that a carcinogen attributes to cancer.
Also a vegan diet can be deemed as not so healthy too depending on what a person consumes.
With the research and information on the two diets, vegan and animal based diet people can debate which is better. People can get angry during these debates especially if they are for protecting the environment and are in favor of animal rights.
