How I Made Nearly $400 On KDP

Well let me take you back several years. It was 2017 when one of my favorite life coaches and Youtuber talked about her newly published book. She mentioned this on her Youtube channel. This Youtube video was like listening to an angel and as she talked my curiousity grew.

My curiousity grew even more as the video came to a close and she mentioned that the book was self published. She talked about the book being on Amazon and the process. I remember her saying that if you wanted to publish a book through the platform, the only cost was a $2 fee for a proof. I remember thinking only $2 ! I thought to myself how is this possible. Up to that point I believed that it costs hundreds of dollars to self publish a book. And to hear that it did not cost anything and that it only cost so little to get a proof I was hooked at learning more.

Since her video was only 10 minutes and she did not explain the whole process, I started researching. So I went to Google and within the results a blogger had a long post talking about KDP. After reading the lengthy post, I went over toAmazon’s KDP platform. I wrote a Youtube Marketing book. IT WAS published in April 2017. I was was so happy and published an audiobook with it. The book made its first sale within about 48 hours.

Since that first book, i published other books and they have earned royalties too. I used their promotion strategies to sell the books.

In conclusion, I am glad I have been able to publish there and earn royalties.
